The Grand View Motel - Berryville, Arkansas

The Grand View is a stately building that has over looked Berryville’s Public Square for more than hundred years. The rooms all offer wonderful views and the interior still has the original wainscoting and wood trim. From the outside, the building appears in advanced decay. Glancing in the windows of the commercial spaces shows indistinguishable piles of building material, junk, and pigeon poop. This belies the true condition of the building. The electrical has been redone, the building has new plumbing, with fourteen new bathrooms, and ninety percent of the sheet rock work is done. In addition two new furnaces, designed to work in sync and rotate load, have been installed.
